March 28 2024 10:52:33     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

According to price monitoring data from SunSirs, as of March 26, 2024, the domestic market price of n-propanol was referenced at 7,900 RMB/ton. Compared with March 20 (reference price of n-propanol was 7,916 RMB/ton), the price was reduced by 16 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.21%.

Analysis review

Recently (3.20-3.26), the domestic n-propanol market had been consolidating after a slight decline. Early spring had arrived, and the overall trading atmosphere in the domestic n-propanol market had been relatively light. Downstream demand had been boosted relatively slowly, and the overall supply and demand transmission of n-propanol was average. The overall wait-and-see sentiment in the market was strong. Some n-propanol operators in Shandong region had narrowly lowered the price of n-propanol based on their own inventory and other factors, with a downward adjustment of about 100 RMB/ton. Subsequently, the market had been weak and consolidating. As of March 26th, the domestic market price of n-propanol in Shandong region was around 7,200-7,600 RMB/ton, with a relatively high price of around 7,700-7,800 RMB/ton. The domestic market price of n-propanol in Nanjing region was around 8,500-9,000 RMB/ton, and specific orders needed to be negotiated based on actual transactions.

Market outlook

As of March 26th, the overall trading atmosphere in the n-propanol market was mainly quiet. Downstream procurement of n-propanol was mainly focused on essential needs, while downstream stocking was generally cautious. SunSirs’ n-propanol data analysts believe that in the short term, the domestic n-propanol market will mainly adjust within a narrow range, and the specific trend still needs to pay more attention to changes in supply and demand news.
