According to the Commodity Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of n-butanal on March 11th was 8,255 RMB/ton, a decrease of 3.23% from the previous trading day, with a price reduction range of 300-400 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Upstream propylene prices had declined, with poor sales and accumulated inventory, leading to a continuous shift in transaction focus. The upstream hydrogen operating load was average, and the price had slightly decreased. In terms of downstream demand, procurement was not proactive and cautious, with a strong wait-and-see atmosphere.
Market outlook
It is expected that the market for N-butyraldehyde will mainly be weak in the short term.
