According to the bulk list data of SunSirs, the domestic PC market has recently experienced a slight decline after a stalemate, and spot prices of various brands have weakened and consolidated. As of January 15th, the mixed benchmark price of SunSirs PC is around 15,816.67 RMB/ton, with a+0.85% increase or decrease compared to the beginning of the month.

In terms of raw materials, the domestic bisphenol A market has been continuously declining recently. In the early stage, there were many bisphenol A restart devices, and there were also new devices put into operation, with sufficient supply. The current downstream rigid demand continues to be sluggish, weakening the support for PC cost.

In terms of supply: Last week, the overall operating rate of domestic PC slightly decreased, and the industry load was above 66%. The on-site supply of goods was generally abundant. The return of enterprise production capacity is slow, and the increase in supply is not significant. Factory price pricing often flattens, providing moderate support for spot prices.

In terms of demand: Last week, the enthusiasm of terminal enterprises to purchase goods was low, and the main logic was biased towards digesting inventory, resulting in poor demand for on-site stocking. In addition, at the end of the year, the starting position of terminal enterprises was not high, and there was no pre holiday stocking operation. Business owners had increased concerns about the market, and the demand side had poor support for spot prices.

Recently, the PC market has weakened due to a stalemate. The upstream bisphenol A market continues to decline, with weak support for PC costs. The domestic polymerization plant has slightly reduced its load, and the market's spot supply is generally abundant. Traders have a weak mentality and their offers are in line with the market, with some easing over the weekend. Downstream enterprises have poor enthusiasm for receiving goods. It is expected that the PC market will maintain a weak consolidation trend in the short term.
