SunSirs: The Market of ECH Was Stable with Minor Fluctuations (November 13-17)

This week, the market for ECH had remained stable with minor fluctuations. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of November 17th, the average price quoted by ECH enterprises was 8,025.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.31% compared to Monday's price.

Market outlook

Cost side: According to the analysis system of the commodity market of SunSirs, the recent domestic propylene (Shandong) market had experienced narrow fluctuations, with stable prices of raw materials such as glycerol. The cost side support for the ECH market was general.

Supply and demand side: The utilization rate of production capacity on the supply side had decreased, and the tight spot supply situation had continued to provide some support to the market. Downstream was wait-and-see for bargains and they followed up on demand, but the demand side was still weak. The main downstream epoxy resin had been affected by the weak supply and demand since November, and the market continued to decline. There was insufficient support for the ECH market. According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, on November 16, the reference price of epoxy resin was 13,433.33 RMB/ton, Compared to November 1st (13,933.33 RMB/ton), it decreased by 3.59%.

Market outlook

ECH Analysts from SunSirs believe that in the short term, some devices may restart or increase their loads, but market supply support still exists and demand may still be weak. It is expected that the ECH market may remain stagnant and operate on a wait-and-see basis in the short term, and more attention still needs to be paid to changes in raw material prices.
