SunSirs: Coal Prices in Henan Province Slightly Increased in September

According to the monitoring of the Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, the average price of coal in the province in September was 835.95 yuan/ton, an increase of 3% compared to the previous month. Among them, the prices of anthracite washing lump coal, coking coal, and steam coal have increased by 6.3%, 1.5%, and 1% respectively compared to the previous month. Affected by safety inspections on the supply side, the operating rate has declined. As the weather and temperature drop, the daily consumption of power plants will decrease, and the demand for thermal coal will decrease, forming a weak situation of supply and demand. It is expected that coal prices will remain stable in the near future.
