According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the market price of IPA had increased this week. Last Thursday, the average price of IPA in China was 8,080 RMB/ton, while this Thursday's average price was 9,080 RMB/ton. The price increased by 12.38% during the week.

Analysis review

The market price of IPA had rapidly risen this week. As of September 14th, there were more foreign trade orders and fewer on-site sources of goods, resulting in a rapid increase in market prices. The upstream acetone market price had risen, providing strong support for IPA. There were many downstream inquiries, procurement was cautious, and demand was mainly just in needed. Holders followed the market. Overall, the focus of market transactions was upward. As of September 14th, the majority of quotations for IPA in the Shandong region were around 8,800-9,000 RMB/ton; The majority of prices for IPA in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions were around 9,100-9,600 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw acetone, the upstream acetone market price had rapidly increased this week. Last Thursday, the average price of acetone was 7,157.5 RMB/ton, while this Thursday's average price was 7,662.5 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 7.06%. The factories had raised the listing prices in a centralized manner, and the negotiation atmosphere among traders was positive. And in the short term, it is time to stock up before the National Day holiday, and the terminal demand was still good. SunSirs predicts that acetone will rise firmly in the short term, with the mainstream negotiated price in East China at 7,500 RMB/ton.

In terms of propylene, according to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the domestic propylene (Shandong) market price had increased this week. The average price in the Shandong market was 7,188.25 RMB/ton last Thursday, and 7,265.25 RMB/ton this Thursday, with a weekly increase of 1.08%. As of September 14th, propylene enterprises had good shipping performance, and downstream factories were actively purchasing. It is expected that the propylene market will be mainly stronger in the short term.

Market outlook
