According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of eggs at the beginning of this month was 8.91 RMB/kg, and at the end of this month, the price of eggs was 8.28 RMB/kg, a decrease of 7.07%, and a decrease of 7.28% compared to the same period last year.

In June, there was a significant increase in the new production of laying hens in the breeding farms. However, the pace of chicken hunting by farmers has accelerated, and the quantity of chickens being washed has also increased. The overall supply of eggs is moderately loose. Recently, egg prices have gradually hit the bottom cost line, and farmers have also increased their wait-and-see sentiment. Due to the impact of the holiday, there may be a small amount of early restocking in some downstream areas, leading to a rebound in egg prices. However, with the continuous high temperature in China, the risk of egg storage and mold has increased, All links continue to operate in a low inventory state, traders and end markets are still cautious in restocking, and overall consumption support for eggs is still insufficient.

The exit price of eliminated chickens has partially increased, with an average price of 5.45 RMB/kg, an increase of 0.03 RMB per kilogram compared to the 25th. Some farmers have increased their willingness to delay Taobao, but the sales of Taobao chicken products have been poor. Slaughtering enterprises have reduced their purchases, and the sales in the live poultry market are average. With the weakening of the egg market, there may be a concentrated elimination phenomenon at the end of June, and it is expected that Taobao chicken prices will decline weakly in the near future.

Eggs are in the off-season of consumption, with low enthusiasm for stocking in various stages and limited terminal procurement volume. It is expected that egg prices will mainly show a weak trend.
