According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, wastepaper in Zhejiang region is still in a downward trend this week. On June 16th, the average purchase price of A-grade waste yellow cardboard in Zhejiang Province was 1,572 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.13% compared to the average price of 1,590 RMB/ton on June 11th. The price of corrugated paper is running smoothly. On June 16th, the average ex factory price of 140g corrugated base paper was 2,830 RMB/ton, which remains stable compared to the average price of 2,830 RMB/ton on June 11th.

By observing market changes, it can be seen that the domestic wastepaper market is still showing a downward trend this week. In terms of supply, due to the arrival of summer in various parts of China and the continuation of e-commerce festivals, the recycling volume of wastepaper from packaging plants has been continuously increasing, which has led to active shipments from packaging stations. In terms of demand, the current finished paper market is still in a sluggish state, with high inventory of wastepaper in paper mills, resulting in a decrease in demand for wastepaper and a decline in prices.

The price of corrugated base paper has remained stable this week. Currently, the corrugated paper market is operating weakly, and the continuous downturn in the packaging paper market is spreading throughout the industry. With the continuous decline in wastepaper prices, the cost of corrugated paper is constantly under pressure, and prices are mostly stable and wait-and-see. In addition, the cautious attitude of the downstream market remains unchanged, and after a moderate replenishment, it still maintains a focus on purchasing on demand.
