On June 16th, the average market price of 230g-400g white cardboard was 4,740 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.39% compared to the average market price of 4,806.67 RMB/ton on June 11th. On June 16th, the average market price of 250g gray base white board paper was 4,199 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.79% compared to the average market price of 4,232.33 RMB/ton on June 11th.

By observing market changes, it can be seen that the white cardboard market prices are still weak and declining this week. Currently, there are relatively few new orders in the market, and they are basically in a state of just in need of purchase. With the entry of new brands of white cardboard into the market, the intensity of market competition may intensify, which still leaves room for a downward trend in the price of white cardboard.

The price of gray based white board paper has also continued to weaken, and market transactions are still dominated by single and multiple negotiations. Downstream customers and end users have received relatively flat responses, and they still rely on replenishing inventory as needed. At present, the downstream market is bearish towards the later stage, and mainstream paper mills have relatively high inventory, mainly focusing on digesting inventory. Therefore, the price has been lowered to increase shipment volume.
