According to the price monitoring data of SunSirs, as of April 14, 2023, the reference price of domestic n-propanol was 7,800 RMB/ton. Compared with April 10, 2023 (reference price of n-propanol was 8,033 RMB/ton), the price was reduced by 233 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.27%.

Analysis review

From the data monitoring chart of SunSirs, it can be seen that this week (4.10-4.14), the overall market situation of domestic n-propanol showed a slight fluctuation and a downward trend. At the beginning of the week, some suppliers in Shandong Province slightly lowered the price of n-propanol, driving the market down slightly. Then from the middle of the week to the weekend, the market in Shandong Province adjusted prices more frequently, and the market as a whole showed a trend of rising first and then falling. As of April 14, the market price of n-propanol in Shandong Province in China was around 7,000-7,700 RMB/ton. The market price of n-propanol in Nanjing was around 9,000 RMB/ton. Distributors in different regions still had reservations about prices, and the difficulty in monitoring prices may lead to differences in specific negotiation situations. Each region also had differences, and actual orders were mainly negotiated.

Market outlook

As of April 14th, the overall supply side of n-propanol on the market had not changed much, and most downstream purchases continued to be on demand. The May Day holiday is approaching, and there may be phased stocking in the downstream market. The trading atmosphere on the market may be warming up.
