April 06 2023 13:29:51     SunSirs (John)Price trend
The focus of the domestic bisphenol A market is on the rise. On the afternoon of the 3rd, a petrochemical company in East China bid beyond expectations, and the offer was raised to 9,500 RMB/ton. Traders followed the market's upward trend, but high-end transactions were limited. As of the end of the afternoon, the mainstream negotiation price in East China was between 9,400 and 9,550 RMB/ton, an increase of 150 to 200 RMB/ton compared to the previous trading day.
Analysis review
Cost support was strong. International crude oil continued to strengthen, and the upstream raw materials of pure benzene and phenol rose. The support for bisphenol A from the cost side was strengthened. The attitude of the carrier was positive, the offer was upward, and the market negotiation atmosphere had improved. The overall negotiation was around 9,500 RMB/ton.
The terminal demand was still sluggish, downstream PC and epoxy resin had a low center of gravity and trading volume was limited. The overall negotiated price was difficult to improve, and due to the sluggish demand side, the increase in raw material bisphenol A was limited.
Market outlook
The raw materials continued to rise, cost support was strong, but downstream demand was still not optimistic. It is expected that bisphenol A will continue to rise slightly today, with limited growth. The focus is on the trading situation on the market.
