SunSirs: Brazil's Corn Export in March 2023 is Estimated to be 800000 Tons
March 13 2023 09:31:43     The Association of Brazilian Grain Exporters (ANEC) said that Brazil's corn exports in March were estimated to fall further to 803000 tons, down from 1.94 million tons in February and 4.93 million tons in January.
By comparison, Brazil's corn export volume in March last year was 107000 tons.
ANEC data is based on ship dispatching information, and the actual export speed depends on weather and other factors.
If the forecast comes true, the export volume in the first three months of this year is 7.676 million tons, far higher than 2.854 million tons in the same period last year.
In 2022, Brazil's corn export volume reached a record 43.17 million tons, higher than 20.6 million tons in 2021.
In addition to the bumper harvest of Brazil's second-season corn in 2021/22, due to the interruption of the Black Sea export, China opened its market to Brazil's corn, which contributed to the growth of Brazil's corn export.
