According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of March 3, 2023, the reference price of domestic silicone DMC market was 17,380 RMB/ton. Compared with the price of February 26, 2023 (the reference price of silicone DMC was 17,660 RMB/ton), the price was reduced by 280 RMB/ton, or down 1.59%.

Analysis review

It can be seen from the data monitoring chart of SunSirs that this week (2.27-3.03), the domestic silicone DMC market was generally weak and fell. At the beginning of the week, A big factory in Shandong successively lowered the ex-factory price of silicone DMC, which fell to about 16,800 RMB/ton. Subsequently, the transaction at low prices in the market improved, and the prices of big factory did not show any obvious performance of profit-cuttings, and remained basically stable until the end of the week. As of March 3, the overall downstream demand of the silicone DMC terminal was general, and the digestion of raw materials was slow. Some silicone DMC suppliers also lowered their prices slightly following the big factory. The leading big factory still kept the initial price stable, and the difference between the high and low prices in the silicone DMC market was widened. As of March 3, the reference price of domestic silicone DMC market was around 16,800-17,500 RMB/ton.

As of March 3, the supply side of silicone DMC was still relatively loose, and the support of supply side was general. In terms of cost, although the raw material market had declined slightly, the support for the silicone DMC market was still limited. The current downstream demand still played a key role in the silicone DMC market trend.
