SunSirs: China Domestic Rapeseed Meal Continues to be Weak (December 9-15)

According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average market price of rapeseed meal was 3,492 RMB/ton on December 9 and 3,400 RMB/ton on December 15, with a decline of 2.63%, 4.49% lower than that on December 1.

Domestic rapeseed meal continued to be weak this week. In terms of supply, there are data estimates. It is estimated that 650,000 tons of rapeseed arrived in Hong Kong in December, higher than 500,000 tons in November. A large number of imported rapeseed arrived in Hong Kong. The supply of rapeseed is sufficient, the operating rate of oil plants rebounds, and the output of rapeseed increases. In terms of demand, the weather is cooling, the feeding of aquaculture is weakening, and the rapeseed meal is in the traditional off-season, so the demand for rapeseed meal is weakening. Double negative factors depressed the price of rapeseed meal.

In terms of soybean meal: According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average market price of soybean meal was 4,938 RMB/ton on December 9 and 4,676 RMB/ton on December 15, with a decrease of 5.31%. It was down 6.96% compared with December 1. Soybean meal market is weak this week, dragging down rapeseed meal market.

In general, the increase in demand for rapeseed meal is weak. The analysis of rapeseed meal by SunSirs predicts that rapeseed meal may operate in a weak way due to shocks. It is also necessary to pay attention to the changes in soybean meal market.
