According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, as of December 9, the DOP price was 9,761 RMB/ton, down 2.19% from the price of 9,980 RMB/ton on December 1. In December, the price of raw materials fell, the cost of DOP fell, the price of DOP fell in shock, and the market of DOP fell weakly.

The price of raw material 2-EH was weak and fell in shock

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, as of December 9, the price of 2-EH was 9,133.33 RMB/ton, down 1.08% from the price of 9,233.33 RMB/ton on December 1. The start of 2-EH was adjusted by shocks, the demand for plasticizers was sluggish, the price of 2-EH was weak and down, and the cost of DOP was reduced.

The price of raw material PA fell sharply

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the quotation of PA by o-xylene method was 8,150 RMB/ton as of December 9, down 4.68% from the price of 9,550 RMB/ton on December 1. The price of o-xylene dropped, the operating rate of PA by o-xylene method increased, the supply of PA increased, the price of PA by o-xylene method dropped significantly, and the cost of DOP decreased.

Market outlook

According to the DOP data analysts of SunSirs, since December, the prices of raw materials, such as 2-EH and PA, have dropped sharply, the cost of DOP has declined, and the downward pressure on DOP has increased. In the future, the cost of DOP will decline, and the demand will remain weak. It is expected that the price of DOP will decline with shocks in the future.
