Price trend
On the 7th, Sinopec raised the price of acetone by 100 RMB/ton in its East China billing price, and implemented 6,000 RMB/ton. Sinopec North China acetone price was 6,050-6,200 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Although petrochemical enterprises had raised the price of acetone in a centralized way, and the port inventory was at a low level, the supplier's offer was firm, and the market price was firm, the actual transaction situation was not optimistic. The main reason was that the demand side was insufficient and the real offer was limited. In the afternoon, the East China market fell back, and the negotiated price of acetone fell below 6,000 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
It is expected that the acetone market range will be adjusted and operated today (8th), and the negotiated price in East China will be 5,950-6,000 RMB/ton.
