Price trend

On the second day after returning to the market after the holiday, the domestic MIBK market pushed up slightly. The overall negotiation range was 9,550-9,700 RMB/ton, which was 50-100 RMB/ton higher than the previous long-term stalemate.

Analysis review

First, the cost support was strong. As the raw material end acetone pushed up, the pressure from the cost side increased. The negotiation of acetone in East China was 5,150 RMB/ton, and the negotiation of acetone in South China was 5,300 RMB/ton. In the afternoon, mainly affected by the typhoon, the transportation of short-term goods in the interval was restricted, and the price-supporting sentiment of the holders increased, and the offer went up, which was strongly supported by the cost side.

The operating rate of the MIBK industry was around 80%, and the supply side was stable as a whole. It is expected that there may be a shutdown and maintenance plan in the later stage, and the details are being followed up.

Market outlook
