From June 24 to July 1, 2022, the market price of antimony ingots in East China increased. The price at last weekend was 81,750 RMB/ton, and the price at this weekend was 83,250 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.83%.

Analysis review

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the antimony ingot market had an upward trend around the Spring Festival, entered a stable period after mid-March, entered a downward channel in mid-April, slowed down at the end of April, stabilized in May, and entered an upward channel in June.

The price of antimony, a strategic small metal in Europe, rose this week, reaching 14,300 US dollars per ton on July 1. The price rose slightly this week, and the overall market transaction was better than the previous period.

The price of antimony ingot continued to rise this week, rising for two consecutive days during the week. The downstream sales of antimony oxide improved, and there was a certain demand for antimony ingots. The overall performance of the industry chain was good, and the antimony ingot manufacturers had a strong attitude towards price. The supply of antimony ore was still tight, and the supply was slightly tight, which once again boosted the market mentality.

The domestic market price of antimony trioxide continued to pick up this week. Recently, the inventory of antimony trioxide has declined to a certain extent, and the sales are good. There is a certain demand for enterprises to purchase antimony ingots.

Market outlook

On the whole, in the context of tight supply and better demand, it is expected that the price of antimony ingot will gradually recover in the market outlook, and there is a certain room for upside.
