According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of petroleum asphalt from manufacturers in Shandong on April 18 was 3,971 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.10% from the previous trading day and a year-on-year increase of 27.83%. On April 18, the closing price of asphalt futures was 3,950 RMB/ton, an increase of 3.24%.
Analysis review
International crude oil was slightly firmer, and asphalt futures shot up in early trading. Although demand on the spot side improved, the overall change in spot prices was limited, and some of them remained stable and waited to rise.
Market outlook
In the short term, the domestic asphalt market will remain to fluctuate in a narrow range mainly.
