Analysis review

Due to epidemic prevention and control, all trucks were prohibited from entering and leaving Dongfang Steel City for three days on the 9th, 10th and 11th. Dongfang Steel's personnel flow is normal, but the goods have not been unsealed.

In April, the crude steel output of 33 domestic stainless steel plants is 2.9115 million tons, which is basically the same month-on-month and an increase of 0.6% year-on-year. The price of upstream nickel fell, and the price of stainless steel fell. From January to February, the domestic apparent consumption of stainless steel totaled 4.1947 million tons, a slight increase of 1.23% year-on-year.

Demand is weak amid the epidemic and high prices. The rise in overseas energy prices is good for China's stainless steel exports, and export orders have improved. The arrival of steel mills increased, and social inventories continued to increase.
