February 07 2022 11:03:54SunSirs(John)

Price trend

On February 7, the domestic liquid ammonia market warms up, and the price generally rises. After the holiday, the market inventory is gradually digested, and downstream inquiries increase, which prompts the ammonia market to heat up.

Analysis review

Shandong region: Today, most manufacturers in Shandong have raised their quotations, and the increase is obvious, generally above 300 RMB/ton. The manufacturer ships normally, and the inventory pressure is not large. At present, the market demand is acceptable, and the dealers mostly follow the market to make high quotations, the downstream purchases are normal, and the market inventory continues to be depleted. Today, the mainstream price in the region is 4,200-4,400 RMB/ton. It is expected that the market may still rise in the near future.

Hebei area: The price of liquid ammonia in this area rises slightly today, and the quotations of major manufacturers rise slightly today, mainly by around 100 RMB/ton. Market offers tentatively high. Distributors mainly ship normally. At present, supply and demand in the market are basically balanced. Manufacturers are holding up prices, downstream inquiries have increased, purchases have improved compared with those before the holiday, and market inventories have continued to deplete. Today, the mainstream price in this region is 4,200-4,350 RMB/ton. The market is expected to fluctuate slightly in the near future.

Market outlook

It is expected that due to the successive start of downstream purchases after the festival and the increase in spring ploughing stocking, liquid ammonia may still have room for rise.
