SunSirs: Cyclohexanone Market Continued to Rise
December 27 2021 14:13:57SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, from December 17 to December 24, the average domestic market price of cyclohexanone rose from 10,500 RMB/ton to 10,533 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.32% during the week, and the price increased by 2.60% month-on-month and the price increased by 50.84% year-on-year. Analysis review

This week, the domestic cyclohexanone market continued to rise, the raw material pure benzene fluctuated sideways, and the cost support was relatively stable. The downstream chemical fiber centralized procurement, cyclohexanone shipment pressure was slightly reduced, manufacturers' quotations were rising in a narrow range, the solvent market followed up just by on-demand, and the downstream resistance to high prices limits the room for growth of cyclohexanone.

Raw material pure benzene: domestic pure benzene rebounded after falling. Due to the continuous increase in port inventory, industry insiders were cautious about the outlook. During the week, the overall market trading tended to be light, and the price of pure benzene mainly fluctuated with the rise and fall of crude oil and styrene.

Downstream CPL: The supply of CPL has increased in the short term. However, the operating load of some enterprises' cyclohexanone installations is relatively low, which may have certain support for cyclohexanone. At present, the profit of cyclohexanone is already high, which may limit the increase of cyclohexanone.

Market outlook

The cost support is temporarily stable, the spot supply of cyclohexanone is expected to increase, and the downstream sourcing is cautious. The cyclohexanone analyst of SunSirs predicts that the short-term cyclohexanone market will fluctuate.
