Price trend

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, recently, the price of stainless steel is still weak and the spot price is reported at 16,900 RMB/ton, an increase of 16.96% from the beginning of the year.

Analysis review

Due to plans to reduce production by some steel mills, domestic stainless steel mills' crude steel production schedule was adjusted to a month-on-month increase of 0.26% in December.

The terminal demand is not good, but the spot price drops frequently, and on-demand downstream  purchase at low prices.

Market outlook

There is little good news in the market, the downstream mentality is sluggish, and orders are getting less and less. It is expected that the price of stainless steel in the short term will be weak and difficult to change.
