According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the domestic glycine market stabilized at a high level, and the industrial grade glycine was quoted at 25,000 RMB/ton. It is understood that the enterprises mainly completed the orders of old customers, and the supply of goods was tight. Downstream customers were mainly rigid-need customers, and the demand situation was acceptable. With the support of demand, the price of glycine was firm and the industry profit was considerable.

In terms of demand: the price of downstream glyphosate rose significantly, and the price of glyphosate technical medicine continued to break new highs. It is understood that due to the impact of hurricanes abroad, glyphosate companies stopped production, and the foreign supply gap increased. Most domestic glyphosate companies stopped quoting, and the price of glyphosate rose to 55,000 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

Glyphosate analysts of SunSirs believe that downstream glyphosate prices have risen again. As the main raw material for glyphosate production, if glyphosate maintains its upward trend, it is expected that the price of glycine will increase further in the short term.
