Rare earth market analysis:

Prices for mainstream rare earth products saw a slight rebound today. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium (Pr-Nd) oxide rose by 0.08 ten thousand RMB/ton to 73.05 ten thousand RMB/ton, while the average price of Pr-Nd metal increased by 0.01 ten thousand RMB/ton to 88.41 ten thousand RMB/ton. Dysprosium oxide rose by 0.12 ten thousand RMB/ton to an average of 143.70 ten thousand RMB/ton, whereas the average price of terbium oxide remained flat at 669.69 ten thousand RMB/ton. Transaction data for products such as praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, lutetium oxide, europium oxide, and lanthanum-cerium oxide was limited today; please treat these figures with caution.

Currently, market activity for praseodymium-neodymium has picked up slightly; holders show limited willingness to lower prices, and traders are active, leading to a modest price rebound. However, downstream magnet manufacturers are limiting purchases to essential needs at low price points and remain reluctant to accept current rates, resulting in limited actual transaction volume. The market for medium-to-heavy rare earths remains generally weak but stable, with prices seeing only narrow fluctuations. Overall, while prices have recovered slightly today, demand remains sluggish; future price stability will depend on transaction trends, and prices are expected to continue fluctuating within a narrow range in the near term.
