1. [PPI] National Bureau of Statistics: In August 2026, the national producer price index (PPI) for manufactured goods rose by 3.8% year-on-year and 0.4% month-on-month. Producer purchase prices increased by 5.8% year-on-year and 0.3% month-on-month. For the January-August period, producer prices for manufactured goods rose by 2.0% year-on-year, while producer purchase prices increased by 3.2%.

2. [CPI] National Bureau of Statistics: In August 2026, the national Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.8% year-on-year and 0.4% month-on-month. For the January-August period, the national CPI increased by 0.9% year-on-year.

3. [Imports and Exports] Customs statistics show that in the first eight months of this year, my country's total value of goods imports and exports reached 34.78 trillion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 17.6%. In August alone, the total value stood at 4.65 trillion RMB, up 19.8% year-on-year. Specifically, exports and imports grew by 18.6% and 21.7% respectively; both maintained double-digit growth for four consecutive months, and the monthly year-on-year growth rate of imports exceeded that of exports for six consecutive months.

1. [Carbon Black] The Wuhai Anlun Carbon-based New Materials Project (with a total investment of RMB 3.17 billion) has completed the hoisting of its Guofu furnace and has moved into the equipment installation phase. Utilizing low-rank coal fractional utilization technology, the project aims for an annual output of 280,000 tons of carbon black, 2.63 million tons of upgraded coal, 450,000 tons of coal tar, and 150,000 tons of LNG. Scheduled to commence production in April 2027, the project supports the industry's transition from traditional coal chemicals to carbon-based new materials.

2. [Lithium Carbonate] Recently, Sunresin (Lanxiao Technology) signed a contract for a technical upgrade project with Qinghai Hengxinrong Lithium Industry Technology Co., Ltd., targeting an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of lithium carbonate.

3. [Lithium Carbonate] On September 8, Australian lithium producer Core Lithium officially announced that its Finniss Lithium Project—located approximately 88 kilometers southwest of Darwin in the Northern Territory—had successfully produced its first batch of spodumene concentrate from its reactivated processing plant.

4. [Yellow Phosphorus] On September 8, Yunnan Haokun Phosphorus Chemical Co., Ltd. shut down its yellow phosphorus production unit for maintenance; production is expected to resume on the 10th.

5. [Soda Ash] On September 7, domestic soda ash inventory stood at 1.9206 million tonnes at the start of the week, up 0.64% from the previous week; this total comprised 1.0151 million tonnes of light soda ash and 0.9055 million tonnes of dense soda ash.

6. [Potassium Chloride] As of September 8, port inventories of potassium chloride stood at 287,000 tonnes at Zhanjiang Port, approximately 1.0193 million tonnes at Lianyungang Port, and 62,000 tonnes (imported) at Yantai Port.

7. [TDI] On September 8, a major manufacturer in Shanghai raised its latest guidance price for TDI to 17,200 RMB/ton, with supplies subject to volume restrictions.
