Rare earth market analysis:
Prices for mainstream rare earth products remained stable or saw slight increases today. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide rose by 0.014 million RMB/ton to 0.7178 million RMB/ton. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium metal held steady at 0.8705 million RMB/ton, as did that of dysprosium oxide at 1.4015 million RMB/ton. Terbium oxide saw a price increase of 0.0208 million RMB/ton, reaching an average of 6.6462 million RMB/ton. Transaction data for products such as praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, lutetium oxide, europium oxide, and lanthanum-cerium oxide was limited today; please treat these figures with caution.
Currently, trading activity for terbium oxide and dysprosium oxide remains decent; low-priced supplies are tightening, and prices are trending upward, while prices for other medium-to-heavy rare earth products remain stable. The praseodymium-neodymium market has seen a slight recovery; holders are quoting firm prices, downstream inquiries have increased, and trader activity has picked up, leading to a modest price rebound—though transactions are still driven primarily by essential restocking needs. Overall, market sentiment has improved, yet transaction prices remain concentrated at the lower end, and prices are expected to fluctuate within a narrow range in the near term.
