Rare earth market analysis:

Prices for mainstream rare earth products remained soft but stable today. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide stood at 718,000 RMB/ton (down 4,200 RMB/ton), while praseodymium-neodymium metal averaged 873,300 RMB/ton (down 4,700 RMB/ton). Dysprosium oxide averaged 1,378,900 RMB/ton (down 2,400 RMB/ton), and terbium oxide averaged 6,610,800 RMB/ton (down 1,500 RMB/ton). There was limited trading activity today for products such as praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, lutetium oxide, europium oxide, and lanthanum-cerium oxide; please treat these figures with caution.

Driven by low-priced transactions for certain oxides, the decline in praseodymium-neodymium prices widened today, though trading volume remained limited. Currently, downstream demand shows no significant change; traders and inventory holders generally lack enthusiasm for quoting prices, and a wait-and-see sentiment prevails, with only a slight uptick in inquiries. Activity in the medium-to-heavy rare earth sector remains subdued, with prices holding steady but weak. Overall, the price standoff persists and market confidence has yet to recover; prices are expected to fluctuate within a narrow range in the near term as the market awaits new signals.
