Real-time LNG import data released by the China Natural Gas Information Terminal (E-Gas System) indicates that during the week of July 27–August 2, China imported an estimated 23 cargoes of LNG via coastal terminals, totaling approximately 1.53 million tonnes—up from 1.12 million tonnes the previous week.

This import volume of approximately 1.53 million tonnes represents a week-on-week increase of about 36.6% compared to the prior figure of 1.12 million tonnes. The notable rise in domestic LNG supply is expected to exert downward pressure on spot market prices, while futures prices will likely face pressure due to expectations of ample supply.
