Inner Mongolia is a key domestic sugar-producing region. The projected decline in local sugar beet and sugar output is fueling expectations of a tightening domestic sugar supply; this supports white sugar spot prices and favors a strengthening of white sugar futures contracts, representing a moderately bullish factor overall.
