Rare earth market analysis:

Prices for mainstream rare earth products saw minor adjustments today. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide rose by 0.059 million RMB/ton to 0.7672 million RMB/ton, while praseodymium-neodymium metal increased by 0.069 million RMB/ton to 0.9315 million RMB/ton. Dysprosium oxide rose by 0.002 million RMB/ton to 1.4193 million RMB/ton, whereas terbium oxide fell by 0.0056 million RMB/ton to 6.8969 million RMB/ton. There was limited trading activity today for products such as praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, lutetium oxide, europium oxide, and lanthanum-cerium oxide; please treat these figures with caution.

Driven by an increase in inquiries yesterday, holders maintained firm quotes today, leading to a notable rebound in the prices of praseodymium-neodymium products. Although magnetic material manufacturers generally hold low inventories, new orders have fallen short of expectations and purchasing interest remains weak, indicating that downstream sentiment has yet to recover. Prices for medium-to-heavy rare earths showed divergent trends: spot supplies of holmium and erbium tightened, driving prices higher, while other varieties remained sluggish. Overall, with insufficient downstream purchasing enthusiasm and a lack of significant demand release during the off-season, the market is expected to remain characterized by fluctuation and adjustment in the short term.
