On July 13, prices for natural rubber raw materials in Thai production regions saw a slight uptick: Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS) were quoted at 93.00 THB/kg (up 0.80 THB/kg), field latex at 80.30 THB/kg (up 1.00 THB/kg), and cup lump at 70.20 THB/kg (stable).
As a key global production hub for natural rubber, the rise in prices for raw materials—specifically RSS and field latex—in Thailand provides cost-side support for domestic natural rubber spot prices. Regarding futures, the benchmark natural rubber contract (2609) on the Shanghai Futures Exchange closed at 16,905 RMB/tonne on July 10, 2026; expectations of rising raw material costs are likely to drive futures prices upward, creating a generally bullish outlook for natural rubber prices.
