Macroeconomics

1. [Foreign Exchange Reserves] Statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that as of the end of June 2026, my country's foreign exchange reserves stood at $3.4163 trillion, a decrease of $26 billion (or 0.75%) from the end of May.

2. [US ADP Employment] US ADP employment increased by 21,000 last week, compared to a previous figure of 30,750.

Agricultural Products

1. [Corn] The USDA weekly export inspection report shows that U.S. corn export inspections last week fell by 10% compared to the previous week but rose by 5% year-on-year. For the week ending July 2, 2026, U.S. corn export inspections totaled 1,641,777 tonnes, compared to a revised 1,816,927 tonnes the previous week and 1,563,946 tonnes during the same period last year.

2. [Soybeans] On July 6, the USDA weekly export inspection report showed that U.S. soybean export inspections totaled 528,350 tonnes for the week ending July 2, 2026. This fell within the market expectation range of 345,000–600,000 tonnes and followed a revised figure of 443,820 tonnes for the previous week. Soybean exports to mainland China totaled 268,115 tonnes that week, accounting for 50.75% of the total export inspections.

3. [Soybeans] Secex data shows that Brazil exported 1,507,587.20 tonnes of soybeans in the first week of July, with a daily average of 502,529.07 tonnes. This represents a 6% decrease compared to the daily average of 532,927.19 tonnes recorded for the entire month of July last year. Total exports for July of the previous year were 12,257,325.36 tonnes.

4. [White Sugar] Brazilian foreign trade data indicates that Brazil's sugar exports in June saw a simultaneous decline in both volume and price. Regarding export volumes, Brazil exported 3.127 million tonnes of sugar in June, a 7.16% decrease from the 3.368 million tonnes exported during the same period in 2025; cumulative exports from January to June totaled 12.295 million tonnes, down 4.39% from the 12.86 million tonnes recorded in the same period of 2025.

5. [Palm Oil] Data from the European Union shows that, as of June 28, 2026, EU palm oil imports for the 2025/26 marketing year had declined by 5% year-on-year.
