Meanwhile, the urea market continued to weaken, exerting downward pressure on ammonium sulfate prices. With terminal demand for ammonium sulfate softening, market sentiment remained cautious; a "buy-on-the-rise, not on-the-fall" mentality prevailed, and downstream buyers largely sought to purchase at market bottoms.
Market Conditions
As of July 3, the prevailing ex-factory prices for coking-grade ammonium sulfate in the Shandong region were around 970-1,050 RMB/ton. For caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate, the prevailing ex-factory prices in the Shandong region were around 1,130-1,220 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
