Analysts project that U.S. net export sales of soybean meal for the week ending June 25, 2026, will range between 100,000 and 250,000 metric tons. For comparison, net sales in the previous week totaled 283,900 metric tons for the 2025/26 marketing year and 120,200 metric tons for the 2026/27 marketing year.
The anticipated weekly net export sales of 100,000–250,000 metric tons represent a significant decline from the combined sales of the previous week (283,900 metric tons for 2025/26 and 120,200 metric tons for 2026/27); this indicates weak external demand, which exerts downward pressure on soybean meal prices. On July 1, 2026, the benchmark soybean meal futures contract (2609) closed at 2,965 RMB/metric ton, up slightly by 2 RMB/metric ton; however, the current data reflecting weak external demand is expected to have a bearish impact on both domestic soybean meal futures and spot prices.
