Data from cargo surveyors indicate that Malaysian palm oil exports rose by 10.6% to 11.1% month-on-month during the period of June 1–25, 2026. In comparison, exports had increased by 19.1% to 25.0% during the June 1–20 period.
The month-on-month growth rate of 10.6%–11.1% for June 1–25 represents a significant narrowing compared to the 19.1%–25.0% growth seen earlier in the month (June 1–20). This slowdown indicates weakening export momentum and reduced support from the demand side, exerting moderate bearish pressure on palm oil spot prices.
