On June 24, prevailing negotiated prices for bulk BDO in East China ranged from 7,600 to 7,800 RMB/ton, while prices for drummed BDO ranged from 8,600 to 8,800 RMB/ton (delivered, acceptance bill terms).
Market Dynamics:
The BDO market in South China is fluctuating within a specific range. Supply remains moderate, and suppliers continue to prioritize market stability. While contract-based demand from downstream sectors persists, spot market negotiations are sluggish, resulting in a quiet yet stable market tone. The BDO market in East China is undergoing narrow-range consolidation. Strong supply-side support and a supplier focus on market stability—compounded by policy tightening in July—characterize the landscape. Downstream purchasing is limited to immediate needs, and with holders adopting a wait-and-see approach, the market remains at a standstill.
