On June 10, the market for natural rubber raw materials in Thailand saw prices rise amidst overall stability: Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS) were quoted at 94.75 THB/kg (stable); field latex was quoted at 87.75 THB/kg (up 0.50 THB/kg); and cup lump was quoted at 75.00 THB/kg (stable).
This trend reflects a rise in raw material prices alongside stability in other categories; specifically, the price of field latex increased by 0.5 THB/kg, while RSS and cup lump prices remained unchanged. As a major global producer of natural rubber, Thailand's rising raw material costs provide direct cost support for domestic natural rubber spot prices, creating a favorable outlook for spot market trends. Regarding futures, the SHFE natural rubber benchmark contract (2609) closed at 17,590 CNY/tonne on June 9, with an open interest of 158,900 lots; the increase in raw material costs is expected to provide upward support for futures prices, signaling a generally bullish trend.
