Wheat exports for the month totaled 3.4 million tonnes, up 61.9% from the 2.1 million tonnes recorded during the same period last year. Additionally, 228,600 tonnes of corn and 105,700 tonnes of barley were exported in May—volumes that stood at zero during the same period last year.

As a key global wheat exporter, Russia's shipment of 3.4 million tonnes in May (up 61.9% year-on-year) has notably eased global wheat supplies, exerting a generally bearish influence on wheat spot prices.

Russia exported 228,600 tonnes of corn in May—compared to zero exports during the same period last year—resulting in a slight increase in global corn supplies and exerting a mildly bearish influence on corn spot prices.

Russia exported 105,700 tonnes of barley in May—compared to zero exports during the same period last year—resulting in a slight increase in global barley supplies and exerting a mildly bearish influence on barley spot prices.
