Data from SECEX indicates that the pace of Brazil's soybean exports in May outpaced that of the same period last year. From May 1 to May 31, Brazil exported 14.83 million tonnes of soybeans, compared to 14.10 million tonnes in May 2025.
SECEX data shows that Brazil's soybean exports totaled 14.83 million tonnes in May 2026, a year-over-year increase of approximately 5.2% from the 14.10 million tonnes recorded in May 2025. This faster export pace, combined with ample global soybean supplies, has exerted downward pressure on domestic soybean spot and futures prices.
