According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in March 2026, China imported 18,000 tons of propylene oxide, representing a year-on-year increase of 19.7%. The primary regions of origin for these imports were Saudi Arabia (10,000 tons, accounting for 55.6%), Thailand (5,100 tons, accounting for 28.5%), and Singapore (2,900 tons, accounting for 16.0%). Meanwhile, China exported 20 tons of propylene oxide, a year-on-year decrease of 94.4%. The sole destination for these exports was Vietnam (20 tons, accounting for 100.0%).

In terms of regional trade flows, during the period from January to March 2026, China's propylene oxide imports totaled 35,600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.9%. The primary regions of origin for these imports were Thailand (18,100 tons, accounting for 50.9%), Saudi Arabia (12,700 tons, accounting for 35.7%), and Singapore (4,800 tons, accounting for 13.4%). China's propylene oxide exports totaled 74 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 88.8%. The destinations for these propylene oxide exports were Cambodia (20 tons, accounting for 26.5%), Vietnam (20 tons, accounting for 26.5%), and Thailand (18 tons, accounting for 24.4%).
