According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's alumina output for January–February 2026 totaled 15.18 million tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 0.2%.
During this two-month period, the combined alumina output of China's top five producing provinces reached 13.853 million tons, accounting for 91.3% of the national total. These provinces were: Shandong (5.599 million tons, 36.9% share); Shanxi (3.236 million tons, 21.3% share); Guangxi (2.772 million tons, 18.3% share); Henan (1.299 million tons, 8.6% share); and Chongqing (0.947 million tons, 6.2% share).
