Market analysis

Upstream, the price of soda ash—a key raw material for sodium metabisulfite—remained stable, while sulfur prices increased by 0.50%; downstream, caprolactam prices rose by 0.98%. The continued upward trend in the price of the upstream raw material, sulfur, served as the primary driver behind the rise in sodium metabisulfite prices.
