Domestic Situation
On March 18, the SunSirs benchmark price for p-xylene (PX) stood at 10,200.00 RMB/ton, representing an increase of 34.21% compared to the beginning of the month (7,600.00 RMB/ton).
On March 18, Sinopec Sales Company's price for paraxylene remained stable for the time being, with the current effective price standing at 10,200 RMB per ton. This price was being implemented across the East, North, Central, and South China regions. Production facilities—including those at YPC and Zhenhai Refining & Chemical—were operating stably, and sales were proceeding normally.
International Situation
On March 18, PX closing prices in the Asian region declined by $25 per ton, settling at $1,224–1,226 per ton FOB Korea and $1,249–1,251 per ton CFR China.
On March 18, the closing price for PX in the U.S. region declined by $25 per ton, settling at $1,319–$1,329 per ton FOB U.S. Gulf.
