SunSirs: Middle East Conflict Drove Up Raw Material Prices, and Aniline Price Broke Through 10,000 RMB/ton
March 10 2026 08:46:29SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of aniline continued to rise last week. On March 2, the market price of aniline was 9,445 RMB/ton, and on March 6, the price was 10,345 RMB/ton, an increase of 9.53% during the period and 12.91% compared with the same period last year.

Market analysis

Tensions in the Middle East continued throughout the week, and international crude oil prices remained high, driving up the prices of upstream raw materials such as benzene. Benzene is the main raw material for aniline, and its price has risen sharply recently, causing aniline prices to follow suit. In addition, major manufacturers had maintenance plans recently, and enterprise inventories were low, pushing aniline prices above 10,000 RMB/ton.

On the cost side: Due to the impact of the Middle East conflict on oil and gas production and supply, international oil prices continued to soar. Major benzene refineries raised their list prices multiple times, and holders of goods were reluctant to sell at low prices. In the short term, benzene prices may continue to rise in line with crude oil prices.

Market Outlook

As of March 6, supported by both cost factors and anticipated tightening supply, aniline prices are expected to remain high in the short term, with the possibility of further increases.
