Rare earth market analysis:
Today, the prices of mainstream rare earth products showed divergent trends. The average price of praseodymium oxide (PrO2) was 845,500 RMB/ton, unchanged from yesterday; the average price of praseodymium metal (PMC) was 1,036,000 RMB/ton, also unchanged; the average price of dysprosium oxide (DBO) was 1,523,000 RMB/ton, down 20,300 RMB/ton; and the average price of terbium oxide (TERB) was 6,346,000 RMB/ton, down 39,700 RMB/ton. There were few transaction records for PrO2, NdO, europium oxide, lanthanum cerium oxide, and NdO metal today; please refer to these prices with caution.
Today, praseodymium and neodymium products showed clear signs of stabilizing, with inquiries for praseodymium oxide increasing and some traders tentatively replenishing their stocks. Downstream magnetic material manufacturers' purchases of praseodymium and neodymium metal were very limited, with no bulk purchase orders found in the market. This was mainly because downstream companies were still primarily focused on depleting their existing inventories and were taking a cautious wait-and-see approach to high-priced raw materials. Dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide continued their weak trend, with prices continuing to decline.
