Rare earth market analysis:
Today, prices for major rare earth products showed mixed trends. The average price of praseodymium oxide was 886,100 RMB/ton, up 3,200 RMB/ton; the average price of praseodymium metal was 1,081,000 RMB/ton, up 11,500 ; the average price of dysprosium oxide was 1,612,700 RMB/ton, down 11,800 RMB/ton; and the average price of terbium oxide was 6,494,500 RMB/ton, up 17,200 RMB/ton. There were few transactions for most products today; please use this information with caution.
Currently, upstream suppliers are maintaining high prices, with praseodymium and neodymium product prices continuing to rise. As businesses gradually resume operations, market inquiries are increasing, and actual transaction volumes are improving. However, downstream producers generally have ample inventory and remain cautious in their procurement. After a significant price increase following the Lunar New Year, medium and heavy rare earth prices have recently declined noticeably due to a lack of transaction support. Overall, as production gradually returns to normal, subsequent buying, selling, and trading activities are expected to gradually increase, but the market is currently dominated by a wait-and-see approach.
