Market analysis
Upstream propylene prices were stabilizing, and isobutyraldehyde costs were also stabilizing. Yantai Wanhua's neopentyl glycol price was 7,750-7,900 RMB/ton, showing a strong but stabilizing trend. Downstream neopentyl glycol prices were also stabilizing, and downstream purchasing activity was increasing. Isobutyraldehyde operating rates were high, resulting in ample supply. Overall, upward support for isobutyraldehyde prices remained, while downward pressure was weakening.
