SunSirs: The Market Price of Isopropanol First Rose and Then Fell Last Week (February 2-6)
February 10 2026 09:05:01SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to monitoring data from SunSirs' commodity price analysis system, the price of isopropanol fluctuated last week, rising initially before falling, resulting in an overall price decrease. At the beginning of the week, the average domestic price of isopropanol was 5,750 RMB/ton, and by the end of the week, the average price was 5,666.66 RMB/ton, representing a price increase of 1.45%.

Market analysis

Last week, the price of isopropanol fluctuated, initially rising before falling, resulting in an overall price decrease. The price of the raw material acetone declined, weakening cost support. Coupled with weak downstream demand and low market confidence, suppliers were more inclined to sell, while downstream buyers adopted a cautious, needs-based purchasing approach. As of February 6, most isopropanol prices in Shandong province were around 5,650-5,700 RMB/ton; in Jiangsu province, most prices were around 5,600-5,750 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

According to the isopropanol analyst at SunSirs, the price of isopropanol fluctuated last week, rising initially before falling, due to weak end-user demand and purchasing primarily based on immediate needs. It is expected that the market will consolidate and tend to be weaker in the short term, with close attention paid to the operational strategies of major manufacturers.
