On February 5th, ethanol transactions in Northeast China were driven by essential demand
The mainstream price for regular grade ethanol at Jinzhou Port, Liaoning, was 5,400-5,450 RMB/ton, with transactions driven by immediate demand.
The ethanol market in Heilongjiang remained stable, with regular grade ethanol prices in the eastern region ranging from 4,950-5,050 RMB/ton (including tax), and in the western region from 5,000-5,100 RMB/ton (including tax). The reference price for regular anhydrous ethanol was 5,500-5,600 RMB/ton.
The ethanol market prices in Jilin region remained stable, with standard-grade corn ethanol priced at 5,050-5,150 RMB/ton. Premium and extra-premium grade corn ethanol were priced at 5,250-5,400 RMB/ton. The price of ordinary corn anhydrous ethanol was 5,550-5,700 RMB/ton.
On February 5th, the ethanol market in Southwest China experienced slight fluctuations.
The corn ethanol market in Sichuan province was rising, with market transaction prices ranging from 5,650 to 5,800 RMB/ton.
There were no quoted prices for molasses ethanol in the Yunnan region. Local companies were operating sporadically, with most supplies coming from Guangxi. The price of cassava ethanol from Guangxi was 5,750-5,900 RMB/ton, and the transportation cost from Guangxi to Yunnan was 350-400 RMB/ton.
